Emetophobia (specific phobia of vomiting): It’s Relationship with Anxiety-related Disorders and Cognitive Behavioral Therapeutic Approach

Abstract
Emetophobia (specific phobia of vomiting) emerges as one of the most neglected clinical conditions in clinical practice and academic literature. In this article, a phenomenological, epidemiologic and clinical picture of emetophobia is presented and the cognitive behavioral model is discussed as a therapeutic approach for its treatment

Emetofobi (Özgül Kusma Fobisi): Anksiyete Bozuklukları İle İlişkisi ve Tedavisinde Bilişsel Davranışçı Yaklaşım

Ozet
Emetofobi (özgül kusma fobisi), klinik çalışmalar ve bilimsel yayınlar baz alındığında en fazla ihmal edilen klinik tablolardan biri olarak öne çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmada emetofobinin fenomenolojik, epidemiyolojik ve klinik tablosu ortaya konulup özellikle bilişsel davranış terapi modeli üzerinden formülasyon ve tedavi yaklaşımı sunulmaktadır
